Coastal Performance’s Fluoropolymer Thermosetting Resin is a thermosetting powder coating in which 100% of the resin system is fluorocarbon polymers, used successfully in the architectural market for more than 30 years.
Its engineered formulations exceed the performance and durability requirements of top architectural specifications such as AAMA 2605-05, Voluntary Specifications, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Superior Performing Organic Coatings on Aluminum Extrusions and Panels.
It offers superior mechanical properties, with a harder finish that resists scratching and marring during fabrication, assembly and installation. With a few exceptions for highly chromatic colors, it needs only one coat, for greater efficiency than a two-coat PVDF process.
