Coastal provides industrial coating and sandblasting for the AEC industry, with over 40 years of experience in performance coatings for components serving the built environment.
Located in Palm City, Florida, we’re a unique powder coating operation in the United States, and proud to be the sole paint facility of our kind in South and Central Florida. In an industry where only a select few can provide liquid, resin and powder coatings, Coastal stands out as a leading contender.
Founded in 2004 as Coastal Powder Coatings, Inc., we’ve since grown into Electrostatic Spray Painting and other advanced coating systems, so we now go by Coastal Performance Coatings.

Our facility
Our E.S.P. facility was designed and built to deliver an exceptional level of quality, and to paint products that others simply cannot. We welcome the Southeast’s premier aluminum railing manufacturers and architectural metal fabricators.
At the core of our operation is a robust conveyor line, and a second track engineered for products of a scale few facilities in South and Central Florida can take on.

Proper pretreatment is paramount, so every part goes through a rigorous six-stage chrome phosphate conversion process. A concentrated acidic cleaner cleans, degreases and etches the surface; an acidic treatment deoxidizes and de-smuts it. After a rinse in pure water from our reverse osmosis, ultraviolet, multi-stage filtration system, a chrome phosphate conversion coating seals out oxidation for optimal paint adhesion, finished with a rinse of pure deionized water.
Our coating systemsOur oven circulates hot air from the bottom for a consistent airflow over the entire product. On our automated line, products stay untouched throughout, virtually eliminating contamination and paint non-adhesion.
24 standard colors and virtually limitless custom colors, all applied with E.S.P. guns. Warranties are available at additional cost when requested with your order.

Our standard paints are super-durable, meeting AAMA 2604-05 with five-year durability.
